In an effort to protect residents’ identities and become more efficient, the Mercer County Clerk’s Office has updated its digital land records computer system, the county clerk said yesterday.The large database has information on the ownership and status of just about every inch of land in the county, and managing the system and making the information it holds available to the public is a complicated task, County Clerk Paula Sollami Covello said.
